This is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu is different each time, but with a similar style of food, and excellent quality all of the time. We usually get a couple of snacks and appetizers. Then each get an entree and hopefully save enough room for dessert.

We started with two orders of the oysters. FYI, the oysters are in the snacks section of the menu and are always just two oysters per order. This was the first time we ordered the focaccia bread. Everything was delicious. The focaccia bread was house made, not as traditional a style as the focaccia bread I grew up on living in Stockton, but it was very, very good. We didn't take any photos of our food, just check out their Instagram, https://www.instagram.com/rangelife_livermore

We also had the halibut crudo appetizer and the heirloom tomato salad. Everything is always fresh and seasonal and usually slightly different from the last time since seasonality is an emphasis, and they are always taking a new spin on taste combinations, and we think it all tastes so good, every time.
Michelle ordered the Grass Fed Flat Iron Steak and I had the San Francisco Halibut. We both loved our meals. The menu changes daily, so there are some standards that are almost always on the menu, but the sides and flavor profile are different each time.
The cocktail menu is always terrific and seasonal as well. I had the Old Fashioned Cognac Cocktail, then the "Pacific Dopeness" beer with my halibut. Michelle had the Strawberry Soda. We are not wine drinkers, but our friends tell us that the wine selection here is always very nice.

I love the Milk & Honey dessert. A malted milk ice cream, with burnt honeycomb and olive oil. But this night, we ended up sharing the McGinnis Strawberry Cobbler. It came with a Chantilly cream and a buttermilk biscuit. So, so delicious!! I think when it is on the menu, it will replace the Milk & Honey as my favorite.
If you are in the Livermore/Pleasanton area, you can't go wrong by making a reservation at Range Life. Even if you aren't in the area, you should make a trip to Livermore to eat at Range Life and stop by Michelle's shop Creative Healing Center on the way there.
